2 restaurants in Oia with lots of
memories
Eleven years ago, we created
Ambrosia & Nectar on the path to
the Oia sunset with views to the caldera and volcano.
We called it Oia's Café-Restaurant Gallery in the early years, as we mixed
photography and locally created art with our artful food.
New friends from around the world visited us often during their
holidays in Santorini - for long nights over tasty plates and
excellent Greek wines.
Soon we opened
AMBROSIA
Restaurant
atop the cliffs in the center of the village.
A very intimate restaurant with truly amazing terrace views
over the Santorini volcano, sea and caldera.
The stars and moon overhead - the sea and caldera at your feet.
Our menu and wine list were designed with an even finer touch to
match this special spot.
Both serve
Greek - Mediterranean dishes using local specialties and produce
in new recipes that we create in the winter when the island is
'closed'.
Classical and international music drifts into the warm night air,
scented by jasmine or summer herbs.
Personal and friendly service from the owners -

Some
memories -
"book a table on the balcony of
AMBROSIA , the best
restaurant in town."
'Conde Nast Traveller - April 2003'
"AMBROSIA sits on the edge of the caldera and its
food is among the most adventurous on the island."
'Gourmet Traveller - Jan 2007 '
"Ambrosia & Nectar
a more casual alternative to
AMBROSIA.
Try the excellent moussaka, which is made with the white eggplant
that's grown on the island."
